What is this ministry
about?
This is a ministry of our congregation that seeks to minister to the whole person.
It is distinctly Christ-centered and designed to serve those who are experiencing
all kinds of life's needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and the
surrounding communities. It is a ministry that promotes healing in the broadest
sense, spirit, soul and body. It is designed to be a non-judgmental fellowship
for support where each member is accepted and affirmed for who they are so that
they may be firmly rooted and built up in Christ in order to live a free and
productive
life in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Using the Celebrate Recovery format and by working
and applying Biblical principles as outlined in the 12
Steps and 8 Recovery Principles,
we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive,
compulsive and dysfunctional
behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly,
a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
"The thief
comes to kill, steal and destroy. But I have come that you
may have life more abundantly..."
Jesus, Gospel of John 10:10
