The PATH Group
People Always Trusting Him
"…show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long." (Psalm 25:4-5)

The PATH Group is a support group for unemployed men and women and those in career transition. The group’s name and acronym are derived from Psalm 25. It reflects the need for the unemployed and those in transition to keep trusting the Lord during this difficult and challenging time, and to depend totally on Him to teach and lead them down His path to accomplish what He wants during the “defining moment”.

Types of support for the unemployed and those in career transition:

  • Spiritual Support – prayer, devotional time and sharing of needs and relevant issues
  • Emotional Support – Resources and support to address the stress and challenges occurring in the individuals and families during times of employment
  • Functional Support – Professional assistance and seminars to help secure a new position/career
  • Networking & Follow-up – A commitment to share with, and mentor group members during the week in person, by phone or e-mail

Safe and Confidential – Group members agree to a covenant assuring a safe environment to share experiences, needs, and personal issues
