| Why
Should You Join?
You don’t have to be a great
singer, you don’t have
to be able to read music and no
audition is required! One of
the greatest values of serving
in this ministry
is the opportunity
to be in a community
group and in a ministry at the
same time. Many people find
this helpful because
you are only away from
home one night a week!
Our Mission
The mission of the Creative Arts Ministries
is to empower people to unleash the
creative arts for advancing God’s Kingdom – entirely through
the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Dream
Our dream is to experience a transforming era of the Holy Spirit
at work at EFCN. We want to see:
- Individuals inside and outside
the ministry healed from broken
lives
- All individuals
in our ministries stretched
and raised up as leaders in the
Kingdom
- Individuals
come to salvation as a result
of arts outreach initiatives.
What does the future of the Vocal Community look like?
We have seen
that when a large group of God’s people joins
together to praise Him with joy, reverence
and awe, the Holy Spirit uses that
ministry
in extremely powerful ways to encourage,
heal and convict His people. It is our dream
to have an enormous group of people filling
the stage of our new sanctuary who not only
lead worship on Sundays, but also lead impactful
outreach events and ministries that reach
locally and around the world. When
they open
their mouths to sing, people are amazed at
the Holy Spirit’s
power in their worship.
Listen to what other VC members say
“The people in this
group are amazing. The way they care
about and for each other is so beautiful!”
“When
I see the congregation moved
by God working through the music, I
am so excited that I get a
chance to participate in such important work! ”
“The VC is not a
normal ‘church choir.’ Being part of this group
is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I love seeing
the way people are changed by our
ministry, and I love worshiping
with other people who really love God!"
“I don’t
know how to read music, but I love
singing with the VC. I get better
as I go! ”
“I’m not
the best singer by far, but the
VC is a huge part of my life - I love every minute I’m
there. The last couple of years
have been quite a roller coaster
for our family, being in the VC
has been a tremendous help to me
personally."
