Single & ServingWelcome
Single & Serving (S&S) is a ministry for 50+ single men and women providing a great balance of serving others, spiritual growth and social activities. We believe that single men and women should go on an adventure and discover God’s plan for their lives by giving back, helping others and enjoying singleness.
S&S meets once a month alternating between a large gathering, a service project, or a social activity.
We serve others through opportunities such as:
- Service projects
- Supporting the military
- Home improvements
- Food pantries
- Feed My Starving Children
We also have fun through activities such as:
- Game nights
- Bowling
- Miniature golf
- Eating out
- Picnics
- Cultural and community events
Upcoming Events
Single & Serving at the Car Show
Please join Single & Serving on Friday, August 6 at 7p.m. for the Downers Grove Friday Night Car Show.
At the Car Show, you will have the option of listening to the entertainment, walking down Main Street to view the cars, or find a restaurant that suits your fancy for a bite to eat. The show runs from 6–9 p.m. Rain date will be August 13th.
Meet at the fountain by the Downers Grove train station and look for the red, white & blue umbrella. Want to travel with the group? We are car pooling from The Compass west parking lot at 5:45 p.m. to the Naperville train station. We’ll take a short train ride to Downers Grove ($5 round trip).
