Theme for the Year

Place Your Life Before God
So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
- Romans 12:1-2 (The Message)

A Message from Debbie
It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome you to a new year of studies, opportunities, activities, and events designed for the women of EFCN and our friends. Our prayer is that through them God would meet spiritual, relational, and practical needs as we, a sisterhood of women, seek to know and love Him and each other better.
Our theme this year is Search for Significance, Finding Value in Your Father’s Eyes. In our theme verse, Romans 12:1-2 we are exhorted to place our hearts and lives before God and to stand apart from the culture as we fix our attention on God. He will change us from the inside out as we obey and mature in our walk with our Heavenly Father.
Women’s Ministry exists to prepare you for whatever service you do at home, church or out in the world by caring for your soul. Therefore we encourage you to participate in a life impacting Bible Study, monthly Connections small group, Sisters for Your Journey Discipleship group, or a mentoring ministry opportunity. The Holy Spirit will use God’s Word of Truth, as well as close relationships with other women who are also "searching," to produce godly women that He wants to bless and use.
Events throughout the year are designed for you to invite friends and family into your church through Women’s Ministry. Christmas Glo and the Spring Tea are opportunities for your guests to see the love of God in action through His church. Many hours go into each of these labors of love for your enjoyment and so that God will be glorified as women experience true Christian hospitality and the message of the Gospel of Christ, our Savior.
All areas of Women’s Ministry are centered on the God given goal of life changing transformation-to become more like Jesus every day. We exist to make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ by providing opportunities for women to mature through spiritual growth, encouragement, fellowship, and outreach. As we seek to carry out that mission, our vision is that we will be: "Women living transformed lives, impacting others for Christ, reaching our full potential for ministry."
On this web page you will discover opportunities for you as a woman to grow in your personal relationship with Jesus, to serve Him and the church with your spiritual gifts, and to enjoy friendship with God and one another. Together, let us commit our lives before the Eternal Lord that we might understand our God-given significance and be convinced of who we are in the eyes of our great God: worthy, forgiven, deeply loved, totally accepted, complete, righteous, and fully pleasing.
In His Service,

Debbie Gaddie
Director of Women’s Ministry

Prayer
Everything done of lasting value in Women’s Ministry is because it has been covered in prayer by devoted intercessors. On the evenings of our Christmas Glo Outreach, we will need prayer counselors to meet and pray with those in attendance who receive Christ as Savior or have special prayer requests. If you are interested in joining us for sessions of prayer before special events by receiving email requests and by attending an occasional meeting, please contact Sue Cesario at wm@efcn.org.
