New Women's Ministries Bible Study
Begins the week of January 14
Search for Significance
- by Robert S. McGee
Join us for this life impacting study where we will learn that we have a choice in defining our significance as human beings. We can accept the World's standards of performance and other's opinion of us OR we can replace that with the truth of who we are through God's grace and acceptance in Christ supported by the scriptures we will study. When Christ died on the cross, He was our substitute. He took upon Himself the wrath of God that we deserved. We have a true understanding of self when we know that we have great worth apart from performance because Christ gave his life for us, and therefore, imparted great value to us. Indeed, one is emotionally healthy when she can honestly say "I am deeply loved, fully pleasing, totally forgiven, accepted, and complete in Christ."
Three Classes start the week of January 14, 2008:
- Monday 7:00 pm
- Tuesday 9:15 am (childcare available)
- Thursday 7:00 pm
Cost $20 (If you have a book, cost is $10)
Childcare: $35 for first child and $10 for each additional child

Redeeming Failure
- by Discipleship Journal
Do you have a list of good intentions that never get done? Have your set goals for a cleaner house, more quality time with kids or husband, a promotion, finishing a Bible study, finishing school, writing thoughtful cards, talking to a neighbor, losing weight, eating more vegetables, sleeping more, sleeping less, having a successful ministry, or daily quiet time with God...and then not succeeded? If so, Redeeming Failure is the study for you. No one likes to fail and we all do—repeatedly. Take heart— in God’s economy, failure isn’t final. In this Discipleship Journal study, we will be investigating our sources of definitions for success and failure and whether we are really letting God set our goals. Using multiple scripture passages, we will learn what God says about failure and the association with fear, regret, faithfulness and hope. You will be challenged to allow God’s Word to change the way you think and act! Offered Monday nights and Tuesday morning (with childcare).
Using Your Spiritual Gifts
- by Eddie Rasnake
According to the Bible every believer has a least one if not more spiritual gifts. God’s purpose in giving a spiritual gift is to allow you to experience serving Him in a way that will bring you utmost joy, as well as to build up the body of Christ by our ministering to one another. Discovering and using your spiritual gift allows you to experience the purpose for which you were born. Do you know what gift or gifts you have been given? If so, are you using your gift to the potential God intended? Join us for this 12 week study starting Sept 13 and ending on Dec 6. Offered Thursday nights.
