1-1-12 for Preschool Parents
Parents! You are invited to spend 1 hour, once a
month (12 hours a year) with your child in their classroom at church,
interacting with your child and their teacher. Not only will you meet
other parents, but this experience will provide a unique opportunity to learn
what your child is doing with their class. It is a great way to equip you, as
parents, in the pursuit of growing your child spiritually toward a personal
relationship with God through Christ our Redeemer.
This opportunity will be available for all three
services at our Hobson campus (Saturday 6 p.m. & Sunday 9:30 a.m, 11 a.m.).

Kingdom Kids Nursery (Birth to Age 2)
Your children are special and we treat them that way! While parents experience worship with adults, our nursery offers a secure and clean place for your children to play and learn in the care of our nurturing volunteers. We also offer a special room for nursing moms, adjacent to the main nursery area at the Hobson campus.
Pre-school & Kindergarten
The Compass fosters a creative learning environment for children at all of our weekend services. We seek to help them learn about God’s love and watch the Bible come to life through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Child Dedications
The Compass encourages parents to dedicate your children to God - a special covenant between the parents, our great God and your child that you will raise your chlid to honor Him. If you have an infant or young child you would like to dedicate, or for scheduling information, contact:

Dedications generally happen once a month during our worship services.
Security
Security is a big deal for staff and volunteers at The Compass Church. All of our volunteers and paid staff must have a background check prior to serving in Children's Ministries. Although we are a larger church, we still strive to develop close relationships with families so children (and parents!) see the same adult faces every week if they attend consistently at the same worship time.
At The Compass, you'll find:
- Security and cleanliness as a priority
- A high ratio of volunteers-to-children
- A parent paging system to contact parents when needed
- Childcare by reservation for special events
Note for first-time visitors: You might want to give yourself some extra time to register. We recommend arriving 20 to 30 minutes before the worship service starts. (Unless, of course, you're a parent who's used to running late. We know how that goes!) Every child receives a name tag and parents are given matching security tags.
