Welcome to The Compass Church

We are so glad you are checking out what is new at The Compass, and how you can get connected. We’d love to meet you after services – check out when and how in our Newcomer Connections section below. Also, be sure to stop by the Information Center in our Atrium if you have any questions about specific ministries. And don’t miss the free coffee and tea, plus a variety of pastries and specialty drinks for sale, at our Café, open before and after worship services.

Newcomer Connections

Guest Reception
We would love to meet you after one of our worship services to meet you and give you our newcomer’s gift. Our senior pastor, Dale Hummel, is always there along with other friendly staff and members. Our Guest Reception is located in the atrium across from the Café and Resource Center.

Lunch with the Staff
If you are new to The Compass, the staff would enjoy getting to know you better. We believe when a new person comes to a church of our size, they need a place to meet the staff and leadership, find out how to make new connections to life at The Compass and ask questions. We plan to accomplish those goals for you at our monthly Lunch with the Staff. We provide a wonderful meal after the 2nd service once a month from 12:15-1:30pm.

Children 6 years and older are welcome to join the lunch (a children’s menu is also offered). We offer complimentary childcare for children under 6 years.

Membership Classes
Be sure to pick up a Membership Application at the Information Center, Guest Reception or church office or email Jan Thompson, jthompson@thecompass.net. You need to fill out the application and return it to the church office a week before the Membership Class you would like to attend.
